What it is

Academic Tutorial provides one-on-one tutoring for each learner, giving them focused attention and support throughout their session. There is no small-group version of this program — one learner, one tutor, the whole hour.

We cover pre-school subjects through high school, and selected college subjects. Tell us the subject and year level when you inquire and we will confirm whether we can take it.

Who it suits

Any student who is falling behind, keeping up but working far too hard for it, or doing fine and aiming higher. It is also the right program when the problem is not the subject at all but how the studying is being done.

What your child works on

The specific topics they are stuck on
Homework, projects and requirements
Quiz, periodical and exam preparation
Note-taking and revision that actually works
Working independently, with less prompting

How sessions run

Every session is one-on-one. Please bring your child's school materials — textbooks, modules, assignments and returned quizzes — so the tutor can work on exactly what your child is being taught and graded on in school. It is the quickest way to see an improvement in their grades.

At a glance

One learner, one tutor, the whole session
Homework, subject support, quiz and exam preparation
Study habits that hold after the session ends
